About me
I am a person who has learned that it's never too late to find yourself. Through my journey, I have come to accept, appreciate, and understand that I am enough just as I am.
With my art, I visualize my personal journey to self-discovery, hoping to empower others to embrace who they are.
I aim to evoke emotions, to bring to light feelings often buried deep within.
I want to raise awareness that it's okay to be different, that it's okay to be imperfect.
The beauty of life lies in the countless opportunities to get to know oneself. It is natural to lose one's way, to feel fear, to lose courage, to grieve, and to fail. What's important is not to break under these pressures, but to find solace and strength in something that brings comfort and helps us rise again—like my art does for me.
Hi, I’m Matthew
I never imagined I’d have my own webpage, let alone a shop where people would actually want to buy what I create. But people like you taught me otherwise. Your encouraging words, support, and interest inspired me to share my work with the world, and here we are.
What I Create
I’m an artist, and my creations are raw expressions of my inner world. I paint emotions, moments, and the messy beauty of being human. If I had to describe my art, I’d say it’s a reflection of what it feels like to be in search for something, to be honest with yourself, and to embrace the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of life.
What I Believe
My art isn’t just about what I put on paper - it’s about a journey. My core belief is that by getting closer to ourselves, we get closer to each other. I hope my work inspires you to start loving instead of hating, to find comfort in uncertainty. To be ok with being human, trying and failing.
My dream is for this space to be a community where people feel understood, safe, supported, and encouraged to stand up for themselves when it matters most.
My Journey
I’m a searcher. I don’t have everything figured out, and honestly, I think that’s okay. Every day is a new opportunity to discover something about myself and the world. It’s scary sometimes - feeling like everyone else has it all together while you’re just trying to get through. But that’s life, right? A little messy, a little unpredictable, and still pretty beautiful.
When I’m not creating, you can find me singing (I used to be in a band!), reading, or even just cleaning my apartment - yes, that’s a hobby too.
I love being surrounded by plants and spending time with my loved ones. I’m introverted and not the best at conversations. Sometimes, I seem lost in my thoughts. There’s always a lot going on up there.
A Big Thank You
Thank you, truly. I appreciate every single one of you who stops by, supports my work, and shares this space with me. You’re the reason I’m here, and I’m grateful for every bit of it.
